My fiance sent a lovely arrangement to my workplace for my birthday. I wanted to give you kudos on the beautiful flowers. A pleasure to see in this cold weather! Well done!
I found Amanda's on Google as I was looking for a florist in Burtonsville. Despite the reviews, I ultimately walked away very pleased with a beautiful bouquet. She was very pleasant and would recommend her business to family and friends in the area!
Repeatedly disappointed with this florist. Every chance I've given them, whether direct order or by Teleflora, etc. they figure out a way to short change the flowers in the arrangement. You pay for premium but you get the flowers of the size smaller. Lacks all the finishing 'filler' pieces pictured that make it look professional. Trust that you can do a better job picking up flowers at the grocery store and arranging them yourself.
Amanda delivers yet again. We have been using this florist since my sisters wedding a decade ago and once again she did amazing!! My bouquets for my wedding yesterday were simply beautiful as well as the flowers on my arch and the price was very affordable. So glad I chose to use Amanda for my wedding and I will continue using her for my flower needs in the future!
Every time I have ordered flowers Amanda's has been great!
THE DELIVERED ARRANGEMENT NOT WHAT THEY PICTURED
I was late ordering a corsage and I understand that they were busy but the customer service was awful. I will never go back. Being a bit nicer to customers goes a long way.
I think this is the best florist in the Metropolitan area. Always friendly, helpful and professional.
Any occasion, I get my flowers from here for my grandmothers, mother, girlfriend or even just because. I have yet to be let down.
Called ahead at about 2pm to ask if I could stop by to place an order in person for flowers to be delivered and was told that would be fine. Arrived at Amanda's around 3:30 and the first person I spoke with said he had to leave, so he would not be able to take my order. Told me to provide details to another gentleman once I selected the bouquet I wanted from several books. When I tried to place the order that gentleman was unable to take the order, knew nothing about taking a credit card payment or details for the delivery, etc.
Amanda's may do ok with deliveries and orders placed online but they were horrible to deal with in person. I would recommend working with a real florist; at this location the florist business is a side matter and obviously receives little to no attention.
I ordered an arrangement for Mothers Day. They did arrive on time. But when I saw them, they lacked finish, it looked like an arrangement I could have put together. Furthermore, although it vaguely resembled the picture online, 2/3 of the flowers were missing. I'd paid $75 for an arrangement and it looked like an arrangement one could pick up at the Safeway. When I called to complain. The said they'd pick it up and deliver a new one. I'm still waiting
I'm usually not one to write reviews. But I ordered a bouquet to be delivered the next day. I called the next morning to confirm my order and the woman very rudely put me on hold to check. She then came back on the phone to say it's done being made, I then asked if I could get a picture before it being delivered (I lived 5 states away and had no idea of the workand boy was I glad I asked for a pic!) She told me she would after but right now there eating lunch.as soon as I got the pictureI about died laughing, it had to be a joke..it resembled NOTHING I orderedit wasn't even pleasing to the eye, as an arrangement should beafter going back and forth with the woman she finally "fixed" it. I told her it was fine.and I believed that. it was just fine. I have never experienced such unprofessional and inexperienced florist shops ever. I send flowers a lot and will never be using them again. (My advice is to ask for pics first!!)
Don't believe the pictures. These arrangements are TINY! Very poor customer service. Make sure you count the flowers too, BEFORE you leave. AVOID this place like PLAGUE.
