About

Amali's name was inspired by a historical term for lands shared by modern day Greece, Italy and Turkey. In that spirit, our menu is inspired by the Mediterranean way of life and emphasizes vegetables, olive oil, cheese, grains, fish and lamb. In keeping with the values of that dining tradition, we support sustainability. Our wine list offers over 200 selections with an emphasis on sustainable, organic, biodynamic, and vin natural wines. Almost all the materials inside Amali are repurposed from New York City buildings (including our own), and practically every item was crafted by local artisans.-------------------------------------------------------------------------Hours:Mon - Fri: 12:00 pm - 10:30 pmSat: 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm, 5:00 pm - 10:30 pmSun: 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm, 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm-------------------------------------------------------------------------Culinary Team: Nilton Borges, Rachel Goulet and Matt D'AmbrosioGeneral Manager: James MalliosPrivate Dining:Amali offers several distinct private dining options and a wide range of menus:Our Fireplace Room can accommodate parties from 10 to 35 people. Our Skylight Room can accommodate parties from 20 to 60 people. Our Main Dining Room can accommodate parties from 55 to 85 people. The restaurant can accommodate parties of up to 125 seated guests and a cocktail party of up to 150 people. For more information, please email events@amalinyc.com or call 212.339.8363.
