  Company excepts too much too soon from new employees. Doesn't allow ample time to learn all aspect of a new position

  Worked thier for less then a year. Job before Altec was thier 10 years, if that tells ya anything. Plenty of Meth thier, I'm sure its for all the work and hours expected. Second shift supervisor is very blind to whats going on right in front of thier own eyes. People are very rude to new people. If you walk away you can bet they are talking about you behind your back. I told my supervisor several times that someone didn't work safely. For that I got the axe. I wonder what he had on him. Do yourself a favor and go here only if its your last resort

  Pre employment phyical is a joke, your employment is based on if you can past the test which is doing squats, lunges, lifting 75 lbs of weights & carrying across the floor, etc. Research the phyical, only 1% out of a 100 can usually pass it.

  The workers there have little experience working with machinery, bias team leaders, maintenence is full of young inexperienced kids who barely know the know how's on how to fix machines, half the welders aren't certified welders but can pass an altec welding test. Poorly run facility that is run from the inside.

  Impressive modern facility. I was fortunate enough to tour the factory while my crane was being built. I can not say enough about Altec's customer service, starting with the engineering term all the way through support after the sale
