Basic bar & grill / sports bar. Servers are well trained and efficient. My fish fry is decent - light breading and served piping hot. One of the pieces had a strong fishy aftertaste. Prices are reasonable.

Look forward to eating at Alt n Bach's whenever we can. Our favorite is their soup selections which usually change daily. They are the best.

Friendly local pub. A few steps above a dive bar, with good food and attentive staff.

I used to make it to Alt'n Bach's a couple Fridays a month when I was on that side of town, but still try to make their fish fry's as often as I can. They offer an all-you-can eat dinner with soup for under $15. This is no crappy frozen fish either. This is thick flakey cod that comes apart easy with a fork. The tartar sauce is awesome and the batter on the fish doesn't overtake the sweetness of the quality fish. Occasionally I will stop by Brothers 3 (they do a great fish fry also and have a more seasoned coating, but I still say A'n B's is the top dog) because I live closer, but more often i will make the drive.. It's just that damn good.

You can almost always find a table and the wait staff has been extremely pleasant (except one time and when I brought it to the attention of the manager they went as far as to offer me a gift certificate!!). Awesome place and great people, what more can you ask for?

Wonderful service & a friendly atmosphere. The added bonus is that the food is very good. They also make a great brandy Old Fashion sweet.

Occasionally I like to get a carryout order from here, they have really good Chili, not too spicy but condiments are available dining in or taking out. The tavern section is clean, we'll set up with a jukebox and several TVs on with sports and news. Friendly atmosphere, with very polite bartender and wait staff.

The turkey ciabatta never disappoints! Love the atmosphere on the patio, great service and fun people. Allison and Kelly are our favorites!!

Good burgers. Bar serves food and is connected to separate restaurant section. Daily specials.

Food is usually always spot on. It is usually always busy for dinner so the earlier you can get in the better. Probably one of the most popular Friday fish fries around, but that's because it is also good. I took 1 star off simply because the servers are hit or miss. Sometimes you get terrific service, sometimes you get "drop your food/drinks off and that's it" service. In any case, it is a nice little bar spot to stop by for a bite.

Always great food. The best service. That is why we come back again and again. Plus kid friendly.

Went for lunch. Pretty typical bar food. I got the chicken drummies. (Mini chicken drumsticks.) They were cooked well. Covered in crispy bread coating which was seasoned well. Solid food. I had some of my dining mate's onion rings. They were okay, too.

A local favorite, just not mine.

Fantastic and creative place for local food. They aren't cheap but by no means are they expensive. The owners get very creative with their food pairings and options and the bar is your standard Wisconsin fare.
