Even though Mark had a lot of customers waiting, he was able to speak to me in a timely matter. He answered all my questions about getting a new linear style insert and sold me a stylish glass enclosed model that was hard to find. I can't wait to get it installed!
Dwight came out to give the estimate on time, and I appreciated his factual and thorough answers to my list of questions about the process. Also, I didn’t know that I was eligible for the DEQ Fireplace Conversion program, and I ended up ‘winning’ a spot! Thanks for saving me $2,800, Dwight!
Alpine ended up having a highly competitive bid, but as important, they had the face/cover type I was looking for.
50% of the amount not covered by the conversion program is due upon contract agreement, and the remaining 50% is due immediately after install. There is no difference between check or credit card payment.
Nick, Dave, “we don’t know his first name” Clark, and Cade were the crew. They were timely, incredibly thorough protecting my new floors (taped plastic down everywhere and cleaned up after), and had great camaraderie.
I love learning from professionals, but tried to give them space to do their work. They provided a thorough debrief at the end walking through the installation (crawling under the house to see the gas and electrical) and how to use the fireplace esp in case of power outage.
The fireplace was not even on my list of prioritized home improvements, it was more a curiosity I was sussing out. The Conversion program tipped the scale: I am absolutely THRILLED with how it turned out and surprised by how much I love it.
This thanksgiving day I was sitting by my new fireplace thinking how happy I was to have this new feature in our home. Our salesman, Mark, was very professional, from our first phone call to to the installation of our fireplace. We love the way it looks and will use it every day this winter. Thanks Alpine!
I had an appointment for an estimate this morning. It was scheduled for 8:30 - 8:45. I left my office to make it home in time (15 minute drive) to be there during the scheduled window. I arrived at my house at 8:30. I waited until 8:55. During that time the representative did not arrive nor did he call.
Finally, I decided I couldn't wait any longer so I left and went to work. On my drive back to my office, at 9:00, I received a call from the guy. I told him that I was there during our scheduled appointment window. I reminded him that our appointment was between 8:30 and 8:45. He argued that it was at 8:45 as if that were somehow better. He was late and did not call. Had he called I most likely could have made it work. I get it, things happen that make us late. It's the fact that he chose not to call is what is unexcusable.
Needless to say, I will not be having them do my wood stove conversion. I hope this review helps.
We had a great experience with Alpine Fireplaces replacing our wood fireplace for a gas one! Their prices are competitive and they always had us at the front of their mind! Skip, Jeremy, and Daniel were all super helpful in getting the install set up and the sales process started.
Then, Jared, JC, and Austin came to do the install and were all very professional! They were sensitive to making sure they took their shoes off and cleaned up the mess. Then, they trained us on how to use and take care of our new fireplace. We love it and would work with them again!
You can't go wrong if you choose Alpine.
