Awesome view of the Allegheny River. Very comfortable atmosphere inside or out on the patio. The service could definitely use improvement. I have waited over 10 minutes to get a drink at the bar when it's not very busy on several occasions. I've left a couple times when nobody would wait on us. Table service can be hit or miss too. Sometimes it's great, other times you won't see your server again for 20+ minutes. Overall a nice place though

I was so thankful for the service we were provided at the Allegheny Grille. The gentleman who waited on us went above and beyond to be kind. I had lost my voice last weekend and he was thoughtful enough to bring me tea with honey without even needing to ask. This simple act of service will not soon be forgotten. Thank you!

A great destination for an afternoon. The Grille sets on the river and among quaint shops. Food delicious. Prime rib excellent. Service very good. Worth the drive probably 90 minutes north of Pittsburgh. 50 minutes north of Butler.

A beautiful restaurant situated on the banks of the Allegheny River. Offers indoor and outdoor seating. Great views from the window seating. Our waitress was well informed with the craft beer and wine list. The menu was varied and a bit pricey, but the food was worth it. Situated near the Foxburg Winery. Well worth traveling the 90 miles to get there.

I had the extreme pleasure of eating here on Saturday. Not only me, but 20 other women. I am beyond impressed with the service and the food! We all had separate checks (I'm sure is a pain), but our waitress (Nicole I believe) maintained her smile. The view with dinner was amazing too. I am so happy that we decided to have my sister's bachelorette party here. I cannot say thank you enough for the experience I had!

Very nice place. But the service has to be revamped. One hour to get drinks. No order taken at 90 mins. And they were only about 30 percent capacity inside if that. And the patio was full. But they were completely scattered. Not my first trip. Have been there a dozen times over the years and always had slow service but the view and everything else makes up for it usually and you don't mind waiting and enjoying company and atmosphere. I would give 5 star if they hired more service help!

Amazing food, my grandson got the chicken tenders and fries & said after this he will never enjoy them anywhere else. They were the very best ever & for a teenager that's saying a lot !!!!

The Allegheny Grille is only "ok" in my opinion. What's sad is that this location is beautiful. The building and garden are gorgeous, as well as the view of the river. The food is mediocre at best, and the menu doesn't offer anything of any real quality. It's really a shame. With how nice the building is coupled with the Foxburg Winery next door, one would (and should) expect this restaurant to have fabulous food. The flavor and quality are just not there, and the prices aren't fair for the quality of the food. They tend to be too pricey for bad food. Maybe someday they will get their act together, but until then I will be taking my business elsewhere. My grandparents celebrated their 50th Anniversary there, and everyone agreed that the interior and views could not have been any better. The food on the other hand was an atrocity.

The sad thing is the food. Wonderful view of the river, couldn't ask for a better location. The menu needs a lot of work and it would be nice if they could at least cook what the have on the menu properly.
