Description

There still remain a few wild places in the world and this is one of them. Nestled at the base of Kokrines Hills on the North bank of the Yukon River, Alaska’s Yukon River Lodge is located in the heart of Alaska across from the Nowitna National Wildlife Refuge.

The lodge is sandwiched between the Nowitna (Novi) River (approx. 30 miles upriver) and the Melozitna (Melozi) River (approx. 14 miles downriver) , about 7 miles by boat to Horner Hot Springs, 30 miles by helicopter to Melozi Hot Springs, and approximately 15 river miles from the village of Ruby, Alaska.

This is a place where time slows down, king salmon steaks are common dinner fare and wolves roam free. It is the true Alaska - remote, wild and beautiful.

If you’re looking for a remote, out of the ordinary and casual BnB experience on the Yukon River and can get to Yukon River Lodge by boat, snowmachine, helicopter or with a plane on skis, floats or tundra wheels...we can offer you a wonderful remote Alaskan BnB experience.

Simple breakfast provided with shared kitchen facilities available for guests to cook other meals for themselves. Comfortable beds with relaxing river atmosphere, hot showers, basic WiFi, outhouses. Summer-Fall barge delivered fuel drops are a possibility, please call for more information. Contact Sam at yukonriverlodge@mac.com or 907-347-1616
