  I buy my Clark's boots here and my wife gets her Birkenstocks here, too. When was the last times that you actually saw, or visited, a stand-alone shoe store? Rare...especially with customer service on par with the finest clothing stores or boutiques. Alan's deserves a special award for being unique, excellent, and always there when you need some new shoes.
  
  Don't expect a gazillion varieties of running or sports shoes because this is a fine shoe store meaning high-quality. European shoes abound and you might find something you never thought that you'd need and buy two pairs. it's that kind of low-pressure place, oozing with talented employees.

  The shoes are way more over prices. My expirence was very uncomfortable I was greeted to a point where it was just annoying. They had way too many employees foe an empty store.

  I have several problems with my feet making it hard for me to find shoes, including brittle bones and nerve damage due to surgeries as well as surgically removed ligaments. Although I walk with a cane, I do walk a lot and I travel quite a lot. Without the right shoes, I can't do this. Finding shoes has been a nightmare for over 20 years... and what I do find is usually pretty ugly.
  
  I've tried so many show stores... but eventually found that Alan's shoes had brands that worked for me. I've had fairly decent experiences with their other locations, but the one on Oracle has an amazing selection and after the experience that I had with senior salesperson, Adam, I'm going to make that extra drive to get to the Oracle location! He knows what he is doing.
  
  They all made me feel that they really did want to help me, not just sell me something as fast as they could and get me out of there. Adam took extra time to make sure that I was comfortable and I felt that he truly cared if I was going to be able to walk well after I left there. He listened to me. SO many sales people forget to listen to their customers.
  
  It was the best experience of buying shoes in my life! I'll go back as long as they are in business. Thank you Alan's Shoe's!

  Boy this is the place if you want Birkenstocks or any really durable but comfortable shoes, with well trained sales staff, I love the place.
