Brian don't care about the customer, his attitude is here is the price take it or leave it. If you can get it cheaper some where else go get it that's his attitude
Hey, this is Bob Nichols. Just bought a new Toro zero turn mower at Al Lanes . Spent four hours over two days sitting on just about every mower they had , asked a thousand questions and the whole staff was awesome. They were patient and very helpful in considering my situation and the type of mower I needed. Good people and great prices. Don't waste your time going anywhere else because you won't find better pricing or service. Thanks Brian ,Justin and Al.
I had a broken axle on my atv 2 days before a beach trip called down and they were very accommodating and tried to help on short notice by finding an axle and the tires I requested, very good service from Justin in the service department.
Dishonest and misleading sales. They are yes men until you have paid. After that, no interest in taking care of or keeping customers. It's too bad, I've heard that it used to be a reputable resource for equipment.
Follow up:
In "setting the record straight" you failed to mention the discussions leading up to this interaction. Yes I had the equipment for an extended time period however, was sold the particular sthil kombi power head with the sales associate knowing full well the intention to buy multiple attachments in the future. I had planned to purchase the larger cc unit but your sales associate had discouraged it. The day after I purchased the "bed redefiner" I was on the phone w you Brian.
Since your associate discouraged the purchase now resulting in a problem directly related to the size head unit, this lead me to feel either mislead or that you associate wasn't very knowledgeable about the equipment.
You offered the solution to bring it in and assured me over the phone that "things would be taken care of" and an order was placed for a new larger power head. I returned to your shop at your request. That day you had even made the comment "yeah, this thing is brand new" when looking over my power head that had been used twice.
You then offered me $150 cash under the table for a $310 power head.
You had also made the comment "I've got someone I plan to sell it to anyways"
I'm not sure what Sthil would think of the business practices.
None the less, I've always believed that it takes years to make a long term customer and seconds to lose one. I guess I would be considered a lost one.
Best of luck.
Wish I could give no stars. Bought a new kawasaki mule from Mr al Lane because I'm disabled to ride around. Got it home, got going couldn't stop, got throwed off and broke a joint replacement. I called and they cane out to pick up and the young guy says, yes the brakes didn't get bled before it got to you. I call Al and he's swears nothings wrong with the brakes and hung up on me. Luckily for him I'm not the suing type!!! Either way stay far away, they don't care about your safety, only a sale. And rude after you buy is an understatement!!! That is all it have to say.
Stacy and Al are so much fun.they have helped us so much.great prices, good service
Called from Florida regarding my bike that was originally purchased there by someone else. Jessie was super helpful over the phone. Did some research for me and called me back with additional info. Gave me great service as if I was a paying customer. Wish I had a local Yamaha dealership with the same customer service.
