Our Boxer, Lucas can be a handful and we appreciate that Marlene and the staff are willing to work with him. We are sincerely grateful for their patience and love. They take great care of him and he LOVES AK Must Love Dogs!

After leaving my position here, I figured I should update my review. I worked here for a year of my life. In that time I met some great people and worked for a great employer. The way i left wasn't professional at all and I'll always be sorry for that. We had our diffarences though and it was just time for me to go.
Marlene is a great owner and she treats her employees very well. The facility itself is one of the best and one of the cleanest facilities I've ever worked in and I've been doing this for over 13 years. The staff is great and you can absolutely trust them to care for your dog as if they were their own. 10/10 This place and the people are just stellar.

We are so pleased with the quality care our new puppy received at AK Must Love Dogs. We have relied on both the doggy daycare and boarding services offered by the business. The staff has always been so professional and kind. When we drop our puppy off there, we know she will be in the best care with Marlene and her knowledgeable staff. Anchorage dog owners are lucky to have this wonderful business in our community.

Also, they have a really nice selection of dog toys, treats, leashes, collars, and more. I needed help picking out new toys and a leash, and Marlene had great advice on which items were best suited for our pup.

We can't say enough good things about our interactions with the wonderful team at AK Must Love Dogs and the quality care they provide for our dog.

I absolutely love this place! My puppy went in for a temperament test which they allow four hours to evaluate your puppy. I greatly appreciate it that… You can tell they love what they do, they are very professional yet kind, and the schedule is truly set up to help puppies excel. They get play time almost every hour, they get to go outside, they have naptime, and a pack leader is in there with them all the time. They change out pack leaders so the puppies can be used to more than one person. I think this is a great place and I am so thankful that I was given this recommendation.

Our dog Barnaby just LOVES it here. He’s a regular at daycare and occasionally boards here for holidays. Book any holiday boarding early because they fill up quick. They do require flee treatment during the summer months for the health of the dogs. The owner, Marlene, very clearly loves her clients. And every single employee i have interacted with has been friendly and helpful. Unlike some other daycares/boarding centers I have used, this one is all about keeping the dogs calm and comfortable. Don’t get me wrong, they have high energy dogs and sometimes you can hear them barking, but it’s not out of control. THEY EVEN HAVE NAP TIME. Your dog will be in good hands here.
