We Rented a 15 passenger sprinter van for the weekend to drive across country to Texas. We had no issues, the customer service was great. Adrienne provided great customer service checking us in and out.
The guy running this business knows nothing about customer service he was so rude the whole time first time renting a van here and the last one. They try to charge you for everything even though we cleaned the van they charged us 99$ for some crumbles of cookies and said that was extremely dirty, extremely? Really? And 2 hours later one of the tires started shaking they dont really paid attention to their vans. This business have 2.9 stars for a reason please just dont let this company ruin your vacations
At first we were really worried renting here from all the negative reviews we came across, but I had to say we had the best experience. The van we got was thoroughly cleaned and was in great condition. There was a little bit of a delay in printing the papers because they had lost their internet connection but that’s not their fault. Otherwise everything was good.
A word of advice. Cheap is not always the best route. Especially not where safety is concerned. Long story short, the van I rented is not road ready. Over the course of my 900 mile trip I noticed that the brakes squeal, the wheel pulls hard to the right and the tire rubs when riding over any bump. Once I reached my destination a friend pointed out the uneven wear caused by the tire rubbing and said the van isn’t safe to drive another 900 miles. Due to another unrelated issue I had already contacted the corporate office. Once issue number one had been sorted out I went on to explain my second issue. The unsafe driving conditions of the van. However, because the representative assumed I was looking for a discount she was completely unwilling to hear me out or offer any solution. Then she hung up in my face. I then called the rental office and spoke with Adrienne who thankfully was willing to hear me out however, because all of AVR’s locations nearest to me are closed due to covid, she explained that I am unable to switch vehicles or have the van serviced. I have now been waiting two plus hours and I’ve still not received a call from management. WOW! Can things get any worse?
So I needed a van with unlimited mileage and with out the seats to move some items from my son's house. Since most rental companies would not allow their vehicles to be brought back to the same location to qualify for unlimited mileage I called AVR. Not only did they prepare a van for me but they kept it ready for me because I was not able to use it when I rented it the first time. Amir and the young lady behind the counter were very pleasant and treated me like a long time customer. I will definitely be back and I will recommend them to all who need a passenger van. Thanks again to the team at AVR Atlanta for great service, great prices and a great vehicle.
