Dr. Abelar and his entire team are fabulous! His attention to detail and willingness to keep his patients comfortable and informed is a breath of fresh air. Jody is the best Hygienist you'll find. The entire staff know what they're doing and take the dread out of having any dental work done! Two Thumbs Up!!

I had my dental cleaning appt with Josie, Dr.Abelar's Friday hygienist. Would highly recommend her. She is very thorough and gentle. The office is very nice, clean and everyone is friendly. Check Dr. Abelar and his office out if your looking for a great Dentist and Quality care!

My family and I have been clients of Dr. Abelar for about 40 years. We have always found the Dr. and his staff to be careful and thoughtful about their recommendations and their dental work whether it be dental procedures or cleaning and maintaining our teeth and our mouth. Dr. Abelear and his staff have the latest equipment to work with and the latest training to operate the equipment. They are all on the "cutting edge" of dental procedures, cleaning and dental maintenance and insurance and billing. I have nothing but good things to say about the Dr. Abelar and his staff.

Always a great experience at Dr. Abelar's. He is quick to help out when I have had dental "emergencies". Great office staff too! I highly recommend Dr. Abelar for all of your dental needs.

I am always happy to visit my dentist's office for my routine cleanings and exams! Dr. Abelar is very thorough and is an excellent dentist. Jody is the best hygienist in San Diego and always does such a great job cleaning my teeth! I would highly recommend their office to anyone looking for a great dental experience!

I have been a patient of Dr. Abelar’s for nearly 20 years now. During this period of time, I have undergone an array of procedures, from standard fillings to root canals. I have also experienced cosmetic dentistry in the way of frontal veneers with him.
I can say with 100% honesty that I have never had a single unpleasant experience with Dr. Abelar. He is exceptionally skilled, talented, professional, and an absolute expert in the field. In addition to being a gifted dentist, he is also very artistic, which explains why he is the best cosmetic dentist in San Diego. His attention to detail is truly unsurpassed.
It is for these reasons that I trust my teeth and smile to no other dentist, and also why I have referred him to all of my friends and family members, all of who are equally satisfied. I have never heard anything but appreciation from those to whom I have referred Dr. Abelar.
Dr. Abelar’s practice is incredibly beautiful, clean, modern, and well-maintained. As an individual, Dr. Abelar is unequivocally compassionate, considerate, and caring. He is a true gentleman, which was clear from the moment I met him. Likewise, his staff members are very knowledgeable, efficient, kind, and sincere. Dr. Abelar and his incredible and friendly staff have been my only dental service for nearly 30 years. They are very professional , but treat you like family. They care and delivery the best total dentist experience I've had in my 65 years.
