  -you think your paying for quality but your just paying for presentation.
  -Half the employees are hardly even working.
  -I recall 5 kids stocking powerade like it's not a 1 person job.
  -Only 1/4th of the check out lines are ever open even when its slammed.
  -The sales prices are usually still more then marcs or aldies regular prices.
  -One guy dropped my steaks on the floor, didn't check it then and just bagged it like it never happened.
  -Vegetables are sprayed with water and stuffed into card board boxes in the back.

  Ok, the parking lot is ok, the carts are easy access. when there is a sale it's usually pretty good, although they run out quick so go early. I don't buy stuff regular price because it is WAY over priced. And why are there never enough registers open? But the store is clean from what I see, never used the restrooms though. The meat they sell is why I come here, and the guys at the counter are very helpful and friendly. Best meatloaf mix around.

  Best grocery store in the area, and even if you are out of the area it is worth the drive! Acme had some amazing sales and you can see them every Tuesday in their ads/coupons that come in the mail.
  
  The local competition is obviously Giant Eagle. Don't get me wrong GE it's a great grocery store but they are very very expensive. It's almost like you are paying high prices because of the gas program they have. I feel unless gas is $8 a gallon it's just not worth the high prices.
  
  Back to Acme, if you have a question there is always a knowledgeable employee around to help, if lines are long they will pull a cpl employees back to the register, and once again low low low LOW prices. It's not unusual to find 5-10 items that are buy one get one and even buy one get 2 free. I highly recommend Acme to everyone I know.

  Not a bad store, seems a little outdated, which is fine because it keeps prices lower when they're not constantly remodeling. Just be careful in the parking lot. The cart wranglers don't pay attention and no one knows how to drive in there.

  The store is always clean and well stocked. Always always great sales. I find the negative reviews interesting/humorous. Especially the idiot who wrote about their scallops, word of advice: Take them back to Acme, they are always fantastic when it comes to spoiled food, which almost never happens, I remind you. It sounds like you have a bug up your butt, because most stores don't intentionally want to sell bad food. And your house probably already smelled before you opened the scallops that you probably left in a warm car all day, because admit it, thats what really happened. I would examine your own hygiene if I were you,that could be the reason for the stench. ACME IS AWESOME!

  Remember going shopping with your mom when you were a kid in the 70's? This store is that. Nothing fancy. Not a mega uber superstore. It's just a grocery store. I prefer it over the big bird chain. Prices are good. Some great manager's deals. It's clean and the staff is pleasant.

  Good sales. Items not on sale on the expensive side. Good meat dept. Deli is expensive and not sure about the bakery. I've tried several times to order birthday cakes from acme and after waiting an obscene amount of time for them to find a worker from that dept i just went to Giant Eagle and ordered them.

  I like shopping here because the prices are reasonable and the check out lines are quick and the customer service is great. I find their meat selection good too.

  I purchased fresh scallops yesterday and when I opened one package at home to cook it, it smelled terrible and it made the whole house smell very bad. This is the second time I buy spoiled scallops from this store.....never again.

  The stock is deplorable the cashiers are not trained check my purchase history and if you can afford to lose customers such as myself keep it up but we may leave if things don't get better soon. News flags Sunday's are always busy guit acting like they are not. I watched your dairy stock boy walk around the entire time we were here didn't do a dam thing. Ted Renner
