THE BEST SOUND EVER, seriously... AWESOME VISUALS! Love the classic Hollywood look, rich decor, friendly staff and great drinks! My friend and I are married and went out for a club night, we felt comfortable and there no idiots who would assume that every girl is out to get trashed. Great place, will be back for sure.

Attended an art show at the Avalon, and I must say it was an excellent venue. I loved the tiered sections and how the entire space was split up. The facilities were super clean, and the staff was impeccable.

Nice club and cool environment. Night mainly depends on who's there. If there is a good artist or artists the venue can get pretty packed

Fantastic interior. Clean, and air-conditioned. Drinks were pricey. Entrance fee was $15 and on top of that, $10 for a teeny cup of cranberry vodka. Bartender was a sweetheart however. The demographic was mainly gays. They have 4 male strippers on stage. The music they played on this Thursday night was generic pop music. From my observation, it was most enjoyable for groups of 4-5 individuals.

Had an awesome time at Kids Carnival Competitions. ...but floor was very sticky from old drinks spilled. They definitely need to mop the floors. .

Always awesome music on the Thursdays that Tigerheat is hosting👌 Tons of space in this two story club, with creative decor for special events. You can even dance on the stage behind the DJ! Only problem, if it wasn't for the entrance security, I would give Avalon a full 5 stars. Some of them are disrespectful for no apparent reason.

Went after hours on a Saturday night. And a holiday weekend. Was thinking it'd be good. It wasn't. No hot women. None. Don't waste your time and money playas. Music wasn't even good. Again there were no hot women on a Saturday night?!

Been coming here since 2002 and it's still as good if not better. The massive sound system and elaborate lighting production is one of the best California has to offer. World class DJ's from around the globe every weekend. I've even bumped into a few celebrities there.

I love this venue, but parking can be terrible. The lot next door charges 20$ so make sure to carpool! Inside is very nice and clean. If you can, check out upstairs. It has an awesome view of everything!

If you want rude bartenders, employees and horrible service - this place is for you. Never coming back and won't recommend to any of my friends. The gay Thursday night needs a new venue cause this one is way too homophobic!

Nice club. Very big. 2 levels. Not my kind of music, but the dj was creative and he kept the crowd moving. I appreciated the visual effects. Parking wasn't difficult. I parked on street behind club for free (read signs), though there are paid lots beside venue.

First night in LA. My friends and I were told this was a good place to check out. So we booked a table and got a couple bottles for the night. I have to say it was some of the best service I've experienced at a club of its size and capacity. We were escorted to the front upon arrival, showed to our table, and was regularly checked up on throughout the night. Joseph (not sure his proper title) as well as the security staff, made very sure that my first night in LA was a great experience.
