I Will never go anywhere else, seriously! My hair is now so on point. They did surgery basically and saved my hairs life. It's smiling now, doesn't feel like a helmet and it looks amazing. Thanks and stay awesome!

As soon as I walked into AOC I felt like I was back at home in a Boston salon! I found it to be warm and inviting, while still being trendy with a hip feel. My stylist Summer was excellent! She gave a solid consultation before getting started and really got to know me and my hair history. She was extremely personable and professional. As someone in the beauty industry, I appreciated her wonderful aesthetic sense and attention to detail. I have received numerous compliments on my new cut, and she even managed to make my lackluster postpartum hair look full and lively again! I left the salon feeling fabulous and full of confidence, and can't wait for my next cut with Summer. A fabulous salon with passionate & talented people--five stars!

Having moved to VA from another state I had a hard time finding a salon but once I found this gem, I was so happy. I LOVE the way Lindsay cuts my hair. I have also had others cut my hair when she is unavailable and I have never been disappointed. Great job everyone at AOC!

Having had several bad experiences with salons before, I have become very cautious (maybe paranoid) with doing anything with my hair. After mustering up some courage however I decided to make the appointment and commit; even if I haven't decided how I wanted my hair styled and cut.
Upon arrival I was offered refreshments and was soon sat with my Stylist Candace. She was extremely patient as I shared the huge variety of styles I liked and helped me narrow down a cut and color that worked specifically for me. She also made sure to explain why it worked and what options I would have in the future. (This was all new information for me since I never colored my hair before). There was a good balance between conversation and silence which added to the overall relaxed experience. In the end I walked away feeling great. I LOVED my cut and had finally colored my hair like I've been wanting.
I did eventually go back to have more color added out of preference and one of the owners reached out to me personally to make sure I was happy.report this review -

Love this Salon. Tried a few different in the area that I didnt like before finding this gem! My son and I have both had our hair cut by Summer. And she is really good. Shes great with kids too.

Love, love, love AOC! I've been going there for a little over a year now, and Lindsay is amazing. The salon is always very clean, the staff is very attentive and their skills are great! I appreciate Lindsay taking the time to listen to what I am after with my hair, and then giving good feedback. Not all hairstyles are meant for every face. I went from very long hair that was falling out after a series of surgeries last year and now have just above the shoulder length and I love it. Highly recommend Lindsay and AOC!
