I loved the seats where I can lay back lift my feet & relax while watching a great movie on a big fat screen
Comfy seats, but they really need to turn the volume down in the theatres. Have been to 3 movies at this place and each one the volume is uncomfortably LOUD, to the point where it has detracted from enjoyment of the movies. Hey, AMC, you don't have to have the volume turned up to fill a thousand seat stadium when the theatre only seats 100.
Nice comfy chairs, good variety of snacks and finger foods. Just two complaints: the cheddar popcorn is salty as hell and the booze is expensive as f*c*! I paid $27 for two cocktails. Dang!
Phenomenal experience! The staff friendly, the recliners comfortable.
This is my favorite movie theater in Chula Vista simply because you can reserve your seat ahead of time and they have reclining seats. Their snack selection is good.
This was a great experience. I really enjoyed the size of the theatre, it was about 50 seats in the theatre. The seats made the whole experience. They leaned back and there is a center armrest that can go up and down. The popcorn and soda were on par.
Cons: the seat was not super clean looking. I am 6'4" so I was a little tall for the seat back to be totally comfortable but I already recognize it can not fit all sizes of people.
I now feel that this setup of seating is the only way to see a movie. The cost was only slightly more than other theaters. Well worth it.
This is a great theater with nice big comfy reclining chairs. You can buy your tickets online at Fandango to reserve your seat so you don't have to be there 20 minutes before the show starts. Your ticket comes in an email to get you into the theater. Go to the early morning shows if possible, they are less expensive than evening show times. Get your popcorn and drink and enjoy the show. Only complaint is that the restrooms are pretty far away from the last theater if you have the need during the show.
I'm guessing the recliners and bar got this place its high score. Those are nice. However, the customer service here is the worst. The people who work here are very rude, unhelpful and just generally don't have the time to be bothered. I'm not sure why this AMC even employs people. All they do is direct you to the App or ticket kiosk.
The worst customer service. We had to cancel our tickets for the next day and were told the convenience fee was not refundable. What person will believe that a 3$ fee to process a transaction is warranted when we all know a computer processes purchases and returns instantly. The theater a few miles north has food that can be served at your seat and is more spacious... same price too.
I also looked on the AMC website order page & terms/conditions and it does not list the convenience fee as being non-refundable. That refund statement can only be found if you search there page about refunds, which is usually after the transaction has already taken place. Yes, it is only 3.00 but I find these frivolous charges ridiculous.
Not bad! It's clean, has a nice drink fountain and concession area, and comfortable reclining seats. Although I was reclined in the very last row, nobody's head was obstructing my view. My only complaint was that it was unusually cold. Need a blanket or something to keep warm in there.
Well kept up theater and comfortable seats. My only complaint is that it is always packed.
Very nice clean, attractive facility with great leather reclining seats in every Theater. Staff is friendly and helpful.
It's easy to find parking. Also, there are great places in the mall to enjoy a meal or appetizers.
The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the cocktail bar doesn't open until 6pm so if you're there for a 4:30 or 5 o'clock show you are out of luck. I suggest you get a Stubs card it will pay for itself if you visit AMC 4+ times during the year.
