Reservations are not taken for the free film screenings, open seating is on a “first come, first served” basis unless otherwise noted. For live events, free tickets can be reserved through Eventbrite.com. Information about this will be included in the event listing. At the behest of the Capitol Police, a metal detector and x-ray machine have been installed at the Library of Congress Packard Campus. Everyone entering the building is required to pass through these scanners. These procedures bring us into compliance with other Federal institutions that require the same level of security and safety, including the Library of Congress buildings on Capitol Hill. Please leave any large bags or questionable items at home or in your car. The gate opens approximately an hour before show time.
