We always enjoy our visit at Fifth Street Patio and Cafe. Not only do I smell the best bakery items in the oven, but they have such delicious menu items. We have eaten several of their specials and desserts over the many years we have visited this location.
The staff is always pleasant, smiling, and helping each other in the kitchen. (we can see and hear in the dining area)
You have to visit the outside patio with your friendly pet. It is very comfortable and I have seen them help the customers when they are alone with their pets.
Can't say enough about this awesome restaurant in Frisco! Must Visit.

This place normally I would rate 4 stars. However my last two trips were not great.

For example, I ordered the eggs Benedict on special and I got what seemed like boiled eggs with sauce on top, see my picture. My wife got the loaded burrito which was awesome as normal. I asked for extra well done potatoes and mine looked the exact same as my wife's normal potatoes.

This place rocks! A little family owned gem in the heart of Old Downtown Frisco surrounded by historic houses and small businesses. Ditch the big chain food places and come here to experience the creative menu and laid back atmosphere. Sit on the patio and listen to the birds chirping, elated to greet a new day while the sun rises. This will be your new favorite spot in Frisco for breakfast and lunch.

The inside was hot and crowded when we got here. They did not have a good layout for people waiting in like. I ordered the Country Biscuit Breakfast and was very disappointed. The eggs were the only part of the meal that had any gravy on them, so the biscuits were just dry. Most of the coffee pots were empty, and it took a ridiculous amount of time to get the one I asked for refilled. Several of the coffee flavors were very watered down as well. The silverware and napkins were also very low, and not refilled. We decided to sit outside since it was loud and crowded inside, and the table was so dirty that wiping it with a dry napkin left the napkin covered in dirt. I have been here before and been pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere, but I will not be returning anytime in the near future.

Normally very good, but our last visit our order got completely skipped over and we were waiting for over 30 minutes just thought they were busy. Did bring out our order but it was the wrong food. Ordered 2 of the country biscuits and gravy with eggs and potatoes and just got biscuits and gravy, but we were just happy to have food at that point and it was good but still not what we ordered. The person at the register offered a dessert for the trouble and got a brownie with marshmallows on top and it was gross if I paid for it I'd ask for my money back. Chalking it up to an off morning for the because I've had good experiences here but they can get overwhelmed during busy times and have trouble recovering?

Amazing food. The front is packed but there is seating in the back and wasn't too bad there. The bananas foster French toast was insanely good

This is a small cafe so it gets 5 stars for its catagory. We happened to have arrived at a very busy time on a Sunday. We were in line to order for about 20 minutes. Someone came and offered free mimosas. That was a very pleasant surprise.
Everyone is very friendly and the place is clean.
I ordered the corned beef hash and it was amazing! The corned beef was tender. The portion sizes are very large.
The prices are very cheap. Don't forget to leave a couple bucks for the staff on the table. They put it in a jar and share it.
The line is not always as long as it is on Sunday to feed the after church crowd.

Nice little place. The food is good and the menu is not what I expected. The place gets slammed during lunch and after church on Sundays.

Love the captain crunch French toast and pretty much every other menu item that I've tried. Seating and waiting in line to order is always a bit of an issue as they are always so crowded, especially on Sundays with the after church crowd.

Amazing food! Don't go anywhere else for your breakfast and lunch. The amount of food you get for the price you pay is awesome. Great tasting and original food and the service is quick and easy! Don't waste your time going anywhere else other than here!
