Lots of interesting shops and sidewalk cafes. If the weather is nice, typical is, then second street is a nice area to walk, shop, and eat.
Pretty cool place. The day I went there wasn't so good; it was raining. But I bet, it must be nice when the weather is nice.
One of my favorite districts in Downtown Austin. Fun shops like Toy Joy and good restaurants.
Posh area, not super shopper friendly, rude staff in most stores
Nice safe outdoor shopping area. The you store is fantastic! There are a couple of nice men's clothing stores and several for women. It is within walking distance of the nearby hotels.
Upscale restaurants and casual dining all within walking distance from several area hotels.
Must visit when in Austin!! Lots of restaurants and stores.
Make sure to stop by League of Rebels Menswear while you there - very classy, great atmosphere like none other. You can relax on their couch and have a drink while you shop.. I was honestly pleasantly surprised by their quality of their wool suits! Try on one of their shirts too - fits like glove!
The stores were so nice! The only problem was we got interrupted by sales people on the side walk by one of the stores trying to sell blue apron.
Very lively with young crowd. Lots of night life.
Love this area. Busy. Trendy. Fast paced
Downtown Austin is just a cool place. This part of 2nd street is part of that same vibe. A properly positive clash of cultures.
This is a moderately nice area of downtown Austin. Best known for the Farmers Market at the Republic Square Park the area around is filled with living areas and shops. At night the area around parking garages can get a little shady.
This is a great shopping boutique area! I love walking around and grabbing a bite to eat.
