Bought a transmission and it was no good, and then they didn't want to give all that we paid for it back, charged us $80 for them taking it out of a piece of junk in their lot, cost is 350 for a non working transmission.

I understand that they sell salvage parts, but if a customer comes back with a problem, the correct answer should never be "Sorry, you can buy a second one and see if it is any good". They yard is recently under new management as of May17. Prices have gone up (Way UP) and customer service has gone down (WAY DOWN). If they sell you a bad part, their answer is that you can buy a second one from them.

I like that he's close to home instead of having to drive all the way downtown. I've been visiting this location for years, and haven't had any unpleasant experiences. The parts are maybe a tad more expensive than a big name junkyard, but are not unreasonable what-so-ever. I enjoy the selection of good parts from old to new at this junk yard, and always find something cool to leave with.

The guy is a real a$$ hole and his prices were ridiculous. I left feeling ostracized and with no parts for my effort. All his cars are complete rust buckets, OK selection of trucks though
