This particularly applies to the medical field.However, namely in this field, as in no other, the slightest mistake may cost human life, the life of a child.Non-governmental Organization "Parents for Vaccination" consolidates knowledgeable parents who have a responsible attitude to child health and understand the importance of vaccination in formation of every person's immunity.According to the Charter, the main objective of the Organization is prevention of infectious diseases by means of ensuring overall accessibility of immunization. Major branches of Organization's activities are:• providing accurate information to the citizens of Ukraine regarding vaccination;• carrying out the outreach and advocacy activities, focused on the importance and exigency of vaccination, among parents;• enhancement of national planned immunization programs in order to achieve target indicators of vaccination coverage;• preparing and submitting to the authority of the government of Ukraine, responsible for health care policy, the propositions concerning purchase and formation of the necessary reserves of vaccines in the state; ensuring the availability and affordability of vaccines for all citizens of Ukraine;• developing the capabilities of health care system of Ukraine to implement vaccination programmes;• combating corruption, including those in the healthcare sector;• creation and support of educational platform in the Internet, dedicated to vaccination and child health, for Organization members;• promotion of scientific developments and researches in field of immunization.Everybody can become a member of Organization and contribute to protection of health and lives of Ukrainian children.
