KIAFF MISSION AND VISION: The biggest concern of KIAFF organizers is to attract film audiences, generate enthusiasm for the art of animated cinema and educate as well as cultivate film admirers and connoisseurs. Finding a new market for African animation film is central to KIAFF philosophy, and thus we chiefly aim to interest and attract African students and young filmmakers. A marvellous atmosphere, appealing programme, stars, luminaries, stakeholders and tens of thousands of visitors are the hallmark of the festival. The festival will be relevant to both the general public and the industry, attracting a broad audience demographic and introducing this audience to innovative areas of animation screen practice.
