The school is located in MIKWAMBE KIGAMBONI, DAR ES SALAAM.
We offer free transport to and from school and the children are served with good breakfast and lunch.
Our Programs
Joy land International Schools has developed age-specific curriculum formats and standards from Infant through Kindergarten programs, primary and secondary. These formats encourage variety, small grouping and a guarantee that your child’s day will be packed with activities according to their age group’s abilities.
Our Teachers have three strong curriculum programs to draw from while still writing their own weekly lesson plans that tap into the children’s interests and cater to their abilities.

PARENTS COMMUNICATION
Each day the teachers will write a personalized note about your child’s day. These notes provide a daily record of your child’s growth and development as the teachers share a snapshot of your kid’s day.
The children will need to be able to cope with a constantly changing working environment where life-long learning is a matter of course and where the pace of change increases exponentially.


ICT
It is believed that learning takes place best when it is connected to what is genuinely a component of the world around the children. Since through ICT the children can model the world outside in the classroom, at Joy land pre-school centre, ICT will be incorporated to support the children in their struggle to gain understanding of the world and learn to function comfortably within it.
With the use of ICT, the school offers an environment where children actively solve problems at the same time mastering basic skills and gaining new knowledge while developing attitudes necessary to living in our changing world.
Through the use of ICT, the children will learn both academic and critical skills right from the time they enter school until they leave.
At Joy land pre-school centre, ICT learning is designed to ensure that the learning experience is relevant, engaging and challenging enough to enable the student reflect on the connections between life in school, life at home and life in the world. It is also worthy to note that technology is not static and that new and improved technological advances appear almost daily. Hence the ICT learning in Joy land pre-school centre is designed to form a foundation for continuous learning and to be applicable to ever-changing innovations
MUSIC
Joy land schools hopes to establish a strong music tradition where the children will be exposed to a wide range of musical experiences. A music curriculum shall cover topics that include Classical music, World Music Cultures, Music and Technology and Composition. Every child shall get an opportunity to perform on his/her own, or in ensemble, during the regular practical or show times. There will be lessons on how to play most of the musical instruments.
