Description

Bujora Cultural Centre (BCC) was founded in 1968 by late Fr. David Clement Fumbuka WF. It gradually grew to become one among 37 great Museums of influence in the world.

The Centre is situated in Mwanza,Tanzania along the southern shores of Lake Victoria, 18 kilometres from the city of Mwanza and 2 kilometres north off Mwanza-Nairobi highway.

MISSION: BBC is a community based organization under the Arch-diocese of Mwanza, committed to promote, celebrate and integrate traditional and contemporary life of the Sukuma people.

VISION: Integrated culture may transform human life to prosperity.

OBJECTIVE: Research, collect, promote and exhibit cultural heritage of the Sukuma people for the present and future generations.

GOAL: Make people cherish and uphold their culture in order to cultivate identity and sense of belonging in a multicultural society.
