鯊魚仔 陳文榮 「愛鯊成癡」的陳文榮，為台東縣成功鎮聞名的漁商，有30年接觸鯊魚的工作經驗，被地方稱為「鯊魚王」，有鑒於近10年鯊魚驟減，因此決定儘量搜集、保存，讓更多人認識鯊魚之美，也更愛護海洋。為此，他將倉庫改建成台灣第一座鯊魚博物館，免費展示收藏40多種鯊魚標本。 他說：「要用博物館為台灣東部鯊魚寫歷史。」 台東縣濱臨太平洋，海岸線長達231公里，沿岸有黑潮主流經過，魚群資源相當豐富， 鯊魚的種類即有30多種。早期常有商人到新港收購大白鯊牙齒，近年來因產量日少，陳文榮便著手收集保存，別人是重金標購後賣出獲利，而他卻反倒是重金標購， 藉解剖鯊魚及製作標本累積更多鯊魚知識。 陳文榮最大的成就在於解開豆腐鯊（鯨鯊）生育之謎，十幾年前，國際間學者為著豆腐鯊到底是卵生、胎生或卵胎生而爭執不下，據聞有人懸賞獎金100萬元以解開謎底。民國84年，成功漁民曾捕獲一條豆腐鯊，陳文榮將之標購，利用起重機吊魚時，就有一條小豆腐鯊苗從生殖口掉出，解剖時發現魚肚中已孵化及尚未完全孵化的魚苗共290多條，這些 魚苗分送到成功水試所，海洋博物館籌備處，枋山試驗所養殖池放養，存活約3、4個月，另有一條被日本購買，存活3、4年。豆腐鯊人工養殖雖未成功，生育之謎卻因此解開。館中較具特色的有：民 75 年成功外海 捕獲重達 4000公斤大翅鯨的鯨鬚，是台東歷年來所捕獲最大鯨鯊（重20頓）的大排翅，及2500公斤大白鯊的牙齒等，另有一條84年捕獲重達1400公斤大白鯊活體標本，以冷凍保存，可惜因保存不易，而且耗電過鉅，所以肢解後做成標本。 陳文榮如是說：「因為本身就是從事這個行業 會去接觸這些東西 於是就把牠保留下來做一個陳列館」。看似一個單純的動機，他卻付上數十年努力的代價， 他的堅持和鍾情從來沒有動搖和懷疑過，這裏絕對是旅客到台東深度旅遊非得造訪的一站。.
