  Amazing place to go hiking. Only one bus on the weekends, there & back. There is a shop & a resteraunt. Quite crowded in the main areas, but once you start on one of the treks you barely see anyone else. Place is covered in clouds & green velvet moss. Really stunning place.

  Most people do a one day trip from Yilan but this temperate forests is worth staying over night to experience its tranquility.

  Should come here in the right season. Winter is not the right season. Also, it was a long ride to the top. It can be very foggy after 3 PM. So, make sure you don't leave too late. Otherwise, it is very difficult to see the road.

  Did a bike ride up the hill. Challenging but enjoyed it. The drive in and out is very scenic if the weather is good.

  A lot of trails and spots are closed. The official website is not helpful at all.
