Took the glass bottom cable car.
    Nice view of Taipei city.
There are some tea houses and cafe at the top for us to enjoy the view. Otherwise nothing much to do.

you will really enjoy getting here through Gandola (not for those afraid heights, search a bus route or car cab), amazing view with cup of tea or coffee in any of several cafes at this Hill station surrounded by beautiful tea farms. a must visit site for tourists

The gondola ride to Maokong Station is a good duration and was the highlight of our visit. Other than the views of Taipei (and surrounding area) from this elevated area, it really is just tea houses, shops, and cafes. Buses back down are small.

I didn't expect much but I'm so glad we decided to try it. The ride provides a stunning view of Taipei including Taipei 101. We had so much fun.

Nice rope conveyor to reach the mountain top for

    - Spectacular view of Taipei city
    - Ariel view of Taipei zoo
    - Temple in the mountain top
    - Scenic view and mountain top village.

Very well maintained and scenic way.

All see through crystal cabin will give a view from top directly through transparent cabin bottom and makes you to feel you are above everything.

NT120 for 1 way trip. Very affordable ride with great view, despite the drizzle. Must try unless you have a fear for height.

There are a lot of stopover stations so the ride is quite long. It is a good place to chill out and have tea if you have free time.

Excellent environment. I recommend you to walk along the hiking trails to the other stations, so you can feel like to be in a Ghibli Animation.

The crystal cabin turns your leg to jelly if you look down. The food and ice cream shops near the gondola is fantastic. Definitely worth visiting.

Worth a visit if you are in Taipei! Gondola ride was cool (if you are taking the MTR, highly suggest to get the Maokong Day Pass, includes unlimited MTR travel and gondola rides for only 350NT).
