Issue 藝創系 期末工坊聯展

如何將傳統與現代相互結合，產生只有當代獨特創造性的作品？是我們思考的。傳統的珍貴技藝加上創新的思維，能夠創造出怎樣的火花？是我們關心的。讓充滿著機器生產規格化商品的社會，有新的聲音出現，是我們期望的。也許我們的作品沒有光鮮亮麗的外表包裝，也沒有統一的規格，卻有溫潤的質感、手作的獨特韻味和我們滿滿的熱情。

本次展覽的主題，強調作品的呈現，回歸到材質的美和手作的價值，展覽名稱則以「issue」的i當做諧音，發展出各工坊所代表的意象以及切合藝術時事的議題，包括藝術家與自然素材之間的對話、在創作中的過程之美、畫作中線條的轉遞、塑造時溫暖的幸福感或是工藝與文化之間的鏈結和傳承。

本次的期末聯展結合了7個工坊及2個課程，在不同的媒材及觀念的傳遞中，將延伸出展品背後所隱含的各項議題及概念，期許我們的作品與努力，能成為台灣文化創意產業鏈中的小幼苗、未來的新尖兵。


We are thinking about the fusion of tradition and contemporary object. We are thoughtful for the valuable craftsmanship and innovations on our art works. In a mass production environment, we expect to initiate a new trend through our creations. Perhaps, our creations do not have delicate packaging, what we have is the nature of material, hand-made texture and the most important value ─ our enthusiasm.

The exhibition theme awakens the nature of material and the value of craftsmanship. The meaning of ‘issue’ is to represent the essence of our studio and the different topic in art which including the conversation between artists and natural resources, the beauty of creative process, the flowing line in the painting, the happiness from working and the inheritance and relationship between culture and craft.

This exhibition is including seven studios and two practical courses’ creation. Through the diverse material and concept, we wish our achievement will bring more discussion and issue on cultural creative industry in Taiwan.
