Staff was kind of rude and arrogant. Also the audio guide was sent for repair. Only two guided tours available. Waste of time!

Lovely location and building. A bit of a trek from Xinbeitou station, but worth it.

Old Japanese Inn reborn as local historical centre, nicely preserved. Located at top of the hill.

Cute for a few mins. Entrance was TWD 120 per person for adults which included socks as we had to remove our shoes. Only place around here that required an entrance fee. There was a tea room/restaurant which was skipped. One of the most expensive gift shops I have ever seen.

A place well-maintained, you can enjoy traditional Japanese life style in Taiwan.

Very interesting collection. They have modern but style clothing with indigenous style patterns.

A relaxing historical place to enjoy a healthy lunch / afternoon tea.

In this heritage Japanese house which was first built as a hot spring hotel, visitors can come see exhibitions and the old building with a guided tour, or come enjoy a healthy Japanese meal prepared by steaming or grill.

Came here for a no-menu lunch. The food was decent, staff was friendly, and it costed NTD 880 excluding 10%. Partially enjoyed the historical ambience, and the mountain view outdoor.

Not bad to spend an afternoon, especially when the weather is good.
