老祖宗的傳統習俗－嬰兒出生後第一次剪下來的胎毛，其髮鋒穎細，含水順暢，故能製成精緻典雅的『胎毛筆』。並再以手工雕刻嬰兒姓名、出生年月日、時辰於黑檀木或牛角筆桿之上，頗富紀念意義與實用價值的稀世珍寶。
