  如大多數人所說，有水無電，廁所算乾淨，或許預算不足，草高過腳踝，有簡易告識牌警告有蛇出沒（我是沒看到），有些許白線斑蚊但尚可接受。營區對面住家看門犬非常盡責，淺眠者記得帶耳塞。東邊有山，早上有陰影，可睡晚些。海拔980m上下，7月晚上19度，舒適。Not the best campsite in the south, but it's FREE!

  This small free campsite has several amenities including toilet and BBQ. No power nor shower, though. It can be very noisy in the morning

  有水 有厠 有棧板營位外加
  木桌椅及烤肉爐 而且完全免費 但無電無熱水 一旁還有原生植物園供散步

  海拔1014公尺夏天避暑的好地方，而且因南橫目前路斷只通到梅山口所以是清優享靜的好地方，最重要的是還免費又可烤肉，但如通車後是否要收費就不得而知了。
  因有小黑蚊記得帶防蚊液。
