I was kept for 14 hours and no treatment was provided to my health issue. When asked about exam results, ER doctor responded “we treat patients, not results”. Neither were treated. Doctor at ward ignored my symptoms and refused treatment according to my results. I had to request to be discharged to seek proper medical attention elsewhere that was promptly provided to me in a different medical facility.
In addition, St. Clair charged me for meds that were not given to me (read bills carefully!!). Once I complained, they acknowledged the mistake and refunded me. Finally, without any authorization from me, I was charged twice on my credit card for the above “care” and now I still need to contact them to solve something they should acknowledge and resolve by themselves.
Hence, a nightmare of medical experience that one week after being discharged is still causing me stress and problems. I do not recommend this medical facility.
The doctors were truly excellent and attentive to the patient who was admitted. The doctors discharged her at 10:30 am but the accounting staff withheld us until afternoon preparing the paperwork. We argued to be discharged since we had already missed our appointment with the ambulance to leave. Did the staff purposely hold us to try to add additional room charges?
I was a patient of this establishment from July 29th to Aug. 5th and must commend the nurses for their outstanding care. They took care of me with love, great care and was indeed passionate about what they did. They were so patient with me. I thank God for all of the RN,s they were thorough in their care special mention to all four of them on duty during my stay. I could not have made it without them.Nurses Charles and Cheryl love you guys, thanks for the patience with me.Even the janitorial staff were very courteous . Karen was really nice in checking in to see if all was well.Great job all of you. I pray Gods continued blessings upon all of you. God bless.
It's not clear but I went to St clair where I did meant children there who were jus enjoying the air in St Clair
The rooms are sanitized on a daily basis. Very clean and comfortable however there's no closet so your clothing has to folded in the little cabinet provided. Very expensive. The room staff are very friendly and helps you to relax however the receptionist could show some hostility we are paying for service.
Thanks to my school - mate Chantal Campbell for being so hospitable towards my brother - in - law ( Brandon Gray) ❤💞
Friendly staff, great health care equipped with leading edge technology.
I came in to do a lower spine surgery and while it was successful, the stay at the clinic was terrible. The staff were not very people oriented and made alot of mistakes. I mean ALOT. They even didn't realise that the IV they were using on me was not going in because the valve on the tube they inserted into my hand was broken. The blood spewed everywhere, and they didnt change the sheets after that! I had to sleep in the bloody sheets. Also the pain killer machine that was connected to me was not even working! The staff didnt even notice these things - it was pointed out to them by my girlfriend who I was lucky to have there. Had she not been, God knows what would've happened. The attendant escorting me to x-ray even forgot to come get me back! These are just a few of the problems I faced. The doctors are great but the hospital staff and equipment are terrible!
A building with beautiful architecture.Thats all this is to me.The hospital is so expensive.
One of my loved ones died here and the doctor arrived really late and left just as quickly because "he can't opperate with people in the room" and it was too late.
If that doctor ever reads this I want to ask why it was too late?
Just bring your loved one to the free hospital in Mount. hope or for the expensive price you will pay here just go to another country to do the operation. It won't be more expensive.
The only reason I give 3stars is because the guard was really supportive of us after my aunt died.
My father spent two days & two nights here two weeks ago and being elderly, we needed someone to stay with him overnight (me). Contrary to some of the reviews I have seen posted here, the nursing staff were kind and understanding. Took extreme care to advise him of everything they were doing, were patient with his hearing deficiency, and were very attentive to his needs. The reason I don't give five stars would have to be the attention in the emergency room. The doctor who examined him and ordered tests and his admission did not seem to think it important to keep us informed. The emergency room was not busy, yet it took several hours for tests to be completed and for him to be admitted. During this process we were not advised as to why the wait was so long.
Fairly nice but some of the lower level staff were kind of rude.
I just came back from this hospital with my wife, they charged us 850tt just to see a doctor and for the doctor to tell us what we already knew (Appendix) she was in severe pain, but the doctors wanted to see a extra 8500tt for further exams! They didn’t even give us medicine to ease the pain...Unbelievable! Maybe because we are tourists from Germany and they only saw the dollar sign on our heads. These doctors don’t care about your health but only money and driving big Porsche SUV’S! Typical third world country. This would have never happened in Europe. Such a shame!
Great team, help to get RX quickly and kindly
Awful nursing staff. If your loved one is an elderly patient, the nursing staff are unkind and lack the skills required to care for and treat elderly patients. The front desk is concerned only about detailing your costs and keeping you in as a long as possible to maximize the amount you spend. A great example of third world nursing care. Dr. Marchack was very good however and a good diagnostician after 2 doctors missed a diagnosis of cardiac disease and myeloma. Shame about the nurses and front desk manner or lack thereof. Might as well get poor public care.
Had to go to the emergency room for a minor injury and then some follow ups for stitches etc. Was surprised by the speed and quality of treatment. They seemed to be lacking on some medical supplies though. Also communication isn't the best here, usually when someone wanted to call me back that never happened so I had to call myself again
Although I did not appreciate the attitude of the frontline staff upon entering your institute, it was truly a delight dealing with Carol the receptionist & Dr Andrew Mike @ the private doctors section they were both very professional & very understanding.
In as few words as possible my experience can be described by these adjectives , professional , knowledgeable, patient and experienced .
Dr. Dale Maharaj and his team are definitely the best it's like a real life grey's anatomy !
Much respect goes out to Nurse Shervonne ! He is the reason my legs work and I am no longer in pain thank you , thank you , thank you !
