Bin yıllık önemli bir yapı ancak oldukça bakımsız. İçerisinde bulunduğu köye giden yola asfalt döşenmiş, bu turizm açısından tabii ki güzel ancak yapının da derhal korumaya alınarak ciddi bir restorasyon çalışmasından geçirilmesi gerekiyor. Tavanı, iç duvarları yıkık dökük halde. Bu haliyle ziyarete açık olması yaşattığı utanç bir yana oldukça tehlikeli de. Tarihi yapılara, eserlere sahip çıkma konusunda ne yazık ki bilinç sahibi değiliz.

Օշկվանքը նշանավոր հայ քաղքեդոնական վանական համալիր է պատմական Մեծ Հայքի Տայք նահանգում։ Կառուցվել է 10-րդ դարում։ Եկեղեցին չափերով հսկայական է` մոտ 40 մետր բարձրություն ունի։ Ներսի պատերին պահպանվել են որմնանկարների մնացորդներ։ Եկեղեցին ներկայումս կանգուն, բայց կիսավեր վիճակում է։

Yıkılma tehlikesine karşı önlem alımalı. Biraz çevresel düzenleme ile bölge turizmi canlandırılabilir.

A brand new bitumen road has been laid for 6km, almost all the way from the main road. Well worth a visit. It was a majestic huge church in its day, but sadly is in bad shape now. There are some relict frescos and you can stand within the edifice and imagine what it was like and marvel at the giant pillars. Of interest is the angel statues on the front of the building above the main entrance - they have had their heads broken off, otherwise are in good shape.
