This bus terminal is huge! You can find all the bus companies which goes to every cities and provinces in Turkey. I was a bit shocked when I learned that they even have more than 2 floors (ground, 1st, 2nd, etc). The directions are provided in every corner of the station, so you'll easily get the information needed. One other thing that i like about Ankara's bus terminal is that the otogar is directly connected to its underground Ankaray (metro), you'll only need to walk 5-10 minutes from the underground to the otogar as it is conjointly connected.

Ankara Intercity Bus terminal is the main bus terminal. You can travel all around the Turkey 7/24 by bus. Here you will find so many bus services, from cheap to high prices. The terminal is good and fully facilitated with food shops, seating and toilets.

Looking a bit run-down and depressing, it is a bit all over the place. It doesn't have signage in English. It took me a while to figure out where the lockers were. They charge 11 Turkish Liras for one day and it is 24/7 available. And in case you need an urgent toilet and you are not familiar with squatting however it is easy to take the metro or a taxi, be aware uber doesn't work well there.

The Information booth was helpful, I was able to find the correct ticket counter for a bus to Goreme (counter 50) {ticket was 45tl}in only a couple minutes. Decent food options are available considering it's a bus terminal. 1.5liters of mineral water and a vegetarian 'wrap' for 6tl. It's mostly tidy, with staff actively cleaning up. Bonus, the smokers are outside. There are benches to sit on. Not much English anywhere, but they seem to be used to travelers and gesture well.

Always someone shout:"İstanbul, Kayseri". You can find toilets end of the coach station. So if you go there you lost time. I think security is low. Ankara's coach station must be better!

Could be better. Especially sanitary-wise. And the security checkpoints are just a joke. At least have decency to remove them completely. They are not screening all the doors.
