  My wife and I had Turista Travel organize a three week visit to Turkey in 2014. They did well on some things, and dropped the ball on others.
  
  --Hotels: we asked for small inexpensive hotels in Istanbul, Selcuk, Bodrum, Marmaris, Fethiya, Antalya and Pamukkale. All hotels were good to excellent. Only problem was finding them--Turista had not provided directions or local maps, tried Google maps, found most streets had no signs, had to stop and ask numerous times, Turkish people were helpful and friendly. Be patient and hotels will be found!
  
  --Car rental: Itinerary said to pick up car at airport in Izmir, but failed to note which car rental firm. We had to go to each desk and ask if they had a reservation for us, finally found it. Fully pre-paid rental had an amount for estimated highway tolls added on at desk. Car itself was fine.
  
  --Air fares: With tickets Turista had purchased in advance, we flew from Istanbul to Kayseri and Izmir, then back to Istanbul from Antalya. We had to change one flight and discovered Turista had purchased non-refundable fares without asking us. We lost about $200 making the change. Turista claimed they weren't responsible.
  
  Local pickup/dropoff at airports: Turista arranged for shuttles to and from airports. Istanbul went well, but shuttle in Kayseri was very late and we barely made our flight.
  
  --Contacting Turista: It is nearly impossible to contact Turista unless you go to their office in Sultanahmet in Istanbul. They did not reply to emails or return phone calls. Once at the office they are friendly but not very helpful, as they are very busy.
  
  I would use Turista again, but I would not take anything for granted and ask a lot more questions.
