  This has been run by 5 generations. The grand grand father has founded the place in 1800s, Ottoman times. The pilav and kavurma (red meat) combination is awesome. Very greasy though, but worth it. The pickles and beans are must be tasted as well. Finish it off with a rice pudding from Hamsikoy. Thank me later.

  This long established restaurant serves traditional meaty pilav rice and hoşaf. A must eat if you are in Trabzon. Not easy to find but has the history behind. Lively people, old cosy place.

  Best rice i have ever had in my life. Make sure you order the pilav with doner with the hoshaf and a little bit of the fusulye too!
