Nice place to visit.
Old places makes me enjoy more of feeling the present.

This magnificent monastery is situated on a steep cliff.
It is an exceptional place to visit and to experience how people lived at that time.
However, the time is took to actually reach this wonder was very poorly managed.
Before entering the park, we had to wait for what seems to he hours because there was only one booth and hundreds of cars. Plus the staff are constantly speaking with the visitors which made the wait that mucn longer.
Why not include an information booth inside the park?
Why not add 2 or 3 booth to receive payment?
Really? Just one?
Additionally, at the ticket booth to go into the monastery, the person selling the ticket is also taking his time. The wait was almost 45 minutes long.
What really annoyed me was that some people were cutting lines and the ticket counter staff didn't even say anything, it was the norm which I found unprofessional.
As staff, you should make your guests respect the etiquette of the park and make sure that our experience is positive.
Honestly, it was a good experience overall, but I wouldn't come back here again.
Unless they trained their staff better for welcoming guests.response / report this review -

An attraction must to see.
They charge 75lira for adults above 8. And there is a device for rent in 4 languages to explain everything about the site. This device cost 45 lira each.
I personally categorize it under religion Tourism for whoever is interested in this kind of places.
The place has 350mtrs of steps so prepare your self for a good walk.response / report this review -

UNESCO world heritage. Very beautiful and impressive place. Unfortunately during our visit it was under renovation so it was impossible to enter, only to watch from outside

It’s good. Most of the area was closed due renovation and preservation.
Entry fees is 10 TL or muzekart.
Giving 3 stars as it’s not completely open.
Overall view is great. Clouds covering hill tops
A shuttle service takes you to the area after you park the car. 6 TL per head above 6 years.response / report this review -

Their website says it's open, but closed when we arrived. Didn't stop them from collecting entrance fee to "park" your car, disappointing.

Has a divine and magnificent atmosphere. You can almost feel monks walking around, making bread, fasting or praying. The view and structure is amazing. Must put on your bucket-list and see with your own eyes. Don't forget to drink spring water from the shrine next to the monastery.

Yes. Place is Currently closed for restorations. .. until approximately Oct-Nov 2016. But still the walk up to the ministry was enjoyable. It was raining on the day we arrived but still, the trees and green trees were very pleasant
