İstiklal'de belki en güzel canlı müziğe sahip olan mekan. Bira içmiştik ve ücretleri çok da yüksek değil işin doğrusu. Müzisyeni çok sevmiştik. Gece boyu eğlendik ve önerdiğim nadir mekanlar arasında. Tek sorun yer bulmakta zorlandık :)

I was in Istanbul for a week with a motley crew of my colleagues ranging in age from college students to low 40s. We spent two evenings at this fantastic live music pub--one a Wednesday for the 4th of July and the other a Saturday night.

We didn't pay a cover charge (we got there a bit early on the Saturday), but the drinks were rather expensive (best off going with just Efes or standard rack mixed drinks). However, the managers passed out a couple free shots on both nights. The live music on both nights was varied and quite good, singing songs mainly in English. Each night is apparently a different genre, so you'll want to check the special events calendar at the door. You can get by fine with English when ordering drinks, especially if you have a smartphone app.

The atmosphere is relaxed and clean and it was easy to make friends. The bartenders were a little curt because they were busy, but the waiters were friendly and attentive. The crowd was mixed and international with several Turkish tourists. Ages also varied but tended toward the 25-35 range. The bathrooms were clean and the place felt safe. Also there are two small balconies facing over the street--a fun place to get away from the music to talk and watch the people below on the pedestrian Istiklal Cd.

Best for a small group of 3-6 people willing to just have fun and enjoy a night on the town. Close to Taksim square for a late night doner or a taksi/dolmuş. When I come back to Istanbul, this will be my go-to club if I'm with a couple other people.
