Amazing place to buy good towels and some other things! We found this place when we were looking for good souvenirs from Istanbul. Consultant Erkan was very friendly and helped us to buy the best towels. So, if you want to buy quality towels and get really good service, choose this shop!

I won’t be writing the products as they are of premium quality. The whole experience is what makes Jennifer’s Hamam different, the sales guys are very helpful, they’re nice, warm, and would explain all different types of products they have in details if its your first time, which made our visit great.
Strongly recommend trying their products.

This is a cute shop with a heart-warming story and promises of having used only organic cotton. Sadly there is no certification to show for these claims. There is also no advance warning that the colors in the towels run. A lot.

With no certification to explain the prices, plus the blue mess in my dryer, I'm going to have to rank it pretty low.

I first heard about Jennifer's Hamam five years ago, when we first came to Turkey. Friends and colleagues raved about the towels, and I have long had a set of the thick-looped towels on my "bucket list" for purchases in Turkey. Last week, I finally bought some of these gorgeous, hand-woven traditional Turkish towels. They are absolutely perfect - the high quality is immediately evident and we are so pleased that they are made from pure organic cotton here in Turkey. The best part is that I know these towels will last for years and years, so they are also a sustainable choice.

Though I had really hoped to visit the store in person before our departure from Turkey, due to the ongoing pandemic, I set up a virtual shopping appointment. The entire process was great - email response times are very quick, and the staff made the virtual appointment really fun.

The hardest part was choosing the right towels from among all the beautiful pieces available!

These really are the most amazing towels I have ever used! My husband bought our first set about ten years ago in Istanbul (because he knew they were a fine quality product that would be hard to find anywhere else). He bought our family another set for Christmas this year; he was wanting something special and unique but also something practical and long-lasting. Our first set is still as good as new, with no fading of colours and no signs of wear, despite daily use. This is a luxury, hand-made item that you will use and appreciate every day. The quality is obvious as soon as you look at the finishing and the fine weaving on the ends of the towels. This is not the kind of product you will find from a machine and I am so grateful that Jennifer's weavers are able to share their craft with the world!

Someone gave me a gift from Jennifer's Hamam and I wanted to get some other items. Because I'm in the US and had never visited the store they scheduled a skype call to give me the full tour. They stayed on the phone with me for over an hour to show me everything they have and answer all of my questions. Everything I got is handmade, very high quality, and really beautiful. The service was impeccable and Jennifer herself is very helpful and responsive.

we first went to jennifer's Hamam several years ago on a visit to Istanbul, we fell in love with several of the towels, and had some shipped back to Los Angeles.
The towels are the most amazing quality and we use them every day. They last so long.
I have since ordered the same towels twice more from her via email, and the response from Jennifer has been amazing. So helpful, and the towels are shipped immediately. I ordered some last Sunday evening, and they arrived at my home in LA by wednesday.
So happy with them, i will probably keep ordering them for years to come

What a wonderful experience it's been using Jennifer's Hamam's organic, handmade items for the last 6 years. I visit every time I travel to Istanbul and am never disappointed. The staff are always kind while I am indecisive trying to choose from the multitude of designs. The colours and choices always mean I spend at least 3-4 hours during each visit. All the items I've purchased over the years still look new. I'm so impressed with how well they hold up. I can't say enough about this shop and recommend that you take at least a couple of hours of your holiday to go and visit!!! You won't be sorry.

My wife did some research ahead of our trip to Istanbul and came upon some recommendations for Jennifer's Hamam, so it was on our list of things to do. We found the shop in the Arasta Bazaar and it was great, but they quickly realized we needed to products and we were taken around the corner and down the block to their warehouse that was close by. Here is where the fun really began.. Jennifer came out and greeted us and explained the business a bit and made sure we understood how special the hand made products were. Her staff took over and explained everything and spent hours with us to make sure we understood all the materials and manufacturing that goes into each and every one of their products.

This was such a great experience to shop here, and the care and kindness shown by Jennifer and her staff made this a really special experience, and we loaded up on lots of products such as towel sets, a new bathrobe, blankets and pechemels.

The real treat though, was when we arrived home and opened our package of all these lush and wonderful products. I have never felt a towel so luxurious and decadent before, and I realize that the other reviewers are right, that I will never be able to go back to regular towels when I have had the pleasure of these fantastic hand made Turkish towels. And the other treasures like our new blanket and bath robes, we are also enjoying daily.

My wife and I just passed though Istanbul for a night on our way home from Barcelona. Jennifer's Hamam was awesome, the quality and uniqueness of her products are truly second to none. We loaded up on towels and blankets and couldn't be happier. I've purchased Turkish towels, or what were represented as Turkish towels, from other stores in Istanbul, they don't come close to the quality found at Jennifer's. If you appreciate the highest quality hand made goods this is the place for you.

I recently bought beautiful towels from Jennifer's Hamam, and received them within days. Jennifer was very good at communicating with me, and answered all my questions in a timely fashion. She has TWO shops in the Arasta Bazaar in Istanbul now (PLUS a new showroom) and people should look for the Cnd. flag in the window. All the textiles are Turkish workmanship, Turkish materials and they are made on old-style shuttled looms, with silk, linen and GOTS certified organic cotton; these are the main points that make this company completely unique in Turkey. It is important to mention that she has fixed prices. I am very pleased with my towels, the colors are fantastic

As a disclaimer, I do receive any kind of kick back or compensation for this review. This is my go to towel place. As a foreigner its always nice to have your "go to's." A spice guy, a towel guy, a rug guy. I can happily say, and hopefully my guests and family and friends can say the same, that I have all three. Luckily again for me, they are my spice lady, my rug lady, and now my towel lady.

Where to start with Jennifer's hamam. I have been here by myself and with guests about a dozen times now. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and passionate. Jennifer herself never seems to leave the store and is proud and friendly. It is always a good sign when the owner of the store is by your side to help guide you through the buying process. Jennifer's can get packed, so be sure to ask where there showroom is, located 3 blocks away, and they will walk you there. The English level by most employees is high here, so that is a comfort as well.

Now to the good stuff. The towels, blankets and scarves. My aunt, who is a impulsive shopper, came to visit a couple of months ago. She insisted that she has enough towels, but like family, I insisted we go anyway so she could have the "experience." I put this in quotes because a day of shopping at Jennifer's is like going through a textile tour of Turkey, in one sitting., Needless to say my aunt went crazy, buying full sets of towels to immediately replace the ones she has. From an array of different designs, thickness and prices, Jennifer's offers fully organic hand woven products. Their linen is to die for (look for their towels, robes, and blankets on the third floor!) Having a tailor on site, makes it easy to offer custom made robes, at a decent price!

Did I mention that they ship worldwide? They ship worldwide.

To be frank, I adore this place. The people, the product, everything about it. I can't say enough about the quality of their product, and I continue to bring or tell anyone I know to go and to experience it for themselves!

Amazing customer service, traditional cotton weaving, vibrant colours After a year of continuous use, my towels are softer than ever and look better than ever! Fantastic experience, a must when in Istanbul, and you can get custom orders by simply sending them an email! Bravo!!
