We had a splendid afternoon tea at splendid hotel on the outside terrace overlooking the sea. The team is professional, friendly, and attentive. The different pastries and sandwiches offered were tasty and well-presented. Overall we found this to be a wonderful must-do experience that we recommend to others visiting buyukada just like sunset at the monastery or the horse-drawn carriage rides.

Perfect setting, full of history, high ceiling interior and classical paintings and decoration. Lovely cafes and nice breakfast.

A hotel stopped in time in the previous century. Amazing décoration. The rooms are impeccable but no air conditioningthe fan does the trick.
The staff is really nice. I guess that's what you call "Turkish hospitality".

A great place to stay at Buyukada. A historical and large building with an interesting architecture. The rooms are very clean and very scenic at both day and night. Especially sipping on your wine while sitting in the balcony and staring at the night lights of Istanbul is heavenly. The breakfast is good and the staff is really eager to help. The only downside is the pool and the pool area that is a bit neglected but I personally overheard the conversation of what I thought to be the manager of the hotel with someone about the plans on revising the area soon. I highly recommend staying at this venue if you like to be surrounded by history and nature while staying close to services and social life at Buyukada.
