  Old small orthodox church with beautiful paint on the roof walls. It is converted to mosque now. Small museum inside to explore the paint. It has also a beautiful sea view.

  It is very beautiful small masjid in Trabzon, very tourist area and you will enjoy it very much from the nature and the Masjid.

  Nice little mosque/former chappel. A nice small garden around it and a coffee shop at the entrance of the complex. Sanitary facilities at the far end, fairly clean and must pay 1 TRL to enter. Nice picturesque place wont take a long time to explore.

  İstanbul'un Latinler tarafından işgal edilmesinden sonra kaçan ve Trabzon'da 1204 yılında Trabzon imparatorluğunu kuran Komnenos Ailesinden Kral I.Manuel (1238-1263) tarafından 1250-1260 yılları arasında yaptırılan ve bir manastır kilisesi olan Ayasofya adı "Kutsal Bilgelik" anlamına gelir. Fatih Sultan Mehmed'in 1461 yılında Trabzon'u fethinden sonra da kilise olarak kullanılan yapı 1584 yılında sultanın emriyle Kürd Ali Bey adlı bir ayân tarafından bir minber ve müezzin mahfili eklenerek camiye dönüştürülmüştür
