Everything is nice. Hotel is 4 star and it deserves it, although no pool, gym or sauna, but it has plenty of other nice things, like food and service

I'd give this zero stars of I could
First, the good: nice views, large room(no idea what they would call it.
Second not so good: like most hotels there are a bunch of small things that are just off. I was with three friends and all stayed in three identical style/level rooms. They were attacked right on top of rather with the same floor plan. Each room had a different quirk and something missing. Even when asked for that item, a tea pot, it was promised to us and then never flowed through on. We stayed for two nights, three days. They claimed it was busy and would not accept an early check in when called early in the morning. I tried to mail our get stamps for my post cards and each day I asked I was just said come back tomorrow.
The ugly.
My room smelled of mildew. In fact I found mold growing in my shower, see my picture. We had met up with some friends, who got married earlier that day, and wanted to chill out in one of our rooms as it was larger than the ones that they were staying in at the hotel right behind this one. We were denied our guests, in the grounds that we could not have any. Lucky for us the couple could speak Turkish and helped us translate. After arguing about policy and room sizes we decided to let it go and deal with it in the morning where the manager could be talked to. The next mourning at check out we wanted to get a refund for half our booking since we were denied guests where we clearly paid for standard double rooms which is six guests. They gave us a run around and treated is like we were born yesterday. They started with we only paid for single guests, then that it was hotel policy that only one person can be in a room. When asked for the policy in paper they said they did not have it, then lost it, and we could find it at the police station as by their words, all hotels policies live there. After more arguing and refusing to sit in their lobby, the manger agreed to give us a refund, but it would take a day. We did not accept this as we were leaving that day and thought that was bull. We said we would accept cash in any currency they had since they have the rates displayed or a charge back on our credit card. We were told that they can't do it via card because it was Sunday and it does not work. Then we argued that wet would happily take cash. After some time on their phone they said the Turkish state of emergencies said they can't have foreigner guests/visitors, but our friends are Turkish citizens, so he dropped the foreigner excuse and we asked for the refund again. He then apparently started to have trouble with English, so we plugged most things into Google translator. They magically found hotel policy when we started to all for them to write down contact information and to sign a statement that said they are refusing to provide is hotel policies. They promptly went to their offices and his their for the rest of the time we were there. We are filling a dispute with the booking website and expect a full refund.
The blatant lies were really infuriating and unnecessary.response / report this review -

Otelin geneli ve oda şık düzenlenmiş ve temizdi. Bozuk, çalışmayan bir şey yok. Personel ilgili ve kibar. Yemeği deneyemediğim için 4 yıldız verdim ama eminim yemeklerde güzeldir.
