A reasonably good place to relax or do sporting activities etc. Although the place looks like it's not very well maintained it's one of the only green places in Istanbul.

One of the very few green parks in the city to be around trees, relax, jog or just walk through. There is a small kitty village at the northern edge of the park. Lots of people bring food and make shelters for the kitty population. Adopting young kitties recommended. The park gets overcrowded with children and their families on sunny weekends. Lots of people light up BBQ inside the park. Although this is forbidden, it is not enforced nor controlled. This often creates an obnoxious environment with smog and smoke so dense it is hard to breathe.
