This review is about our experience in the hotel restaurant for breakfast and we did not stay at the hotel rooms.
We really loved the interior decoration, lots of home-like details, artistic neighborhood, staff and of course the breakfast quality.

"ONE OF THE BEST SMALL HOTELS IN THE WORLD"
In our opinion this is one of the best small hotels in the world, and we have stayed in many. From the moment we booked till the moment we waved a sad goodbye, we were treated like family, nothing was ever a problem - We stayed in the Penthouse with Terrace, spotlessly clean and fitted with everything we could possibly need and the most beautiful views of Isanbul. Beyoglu is such a great area to stay in,Istanbul is a great walking town, but also has plenty of transport close by, the Hotel even gave us a travel card that we loaded and with instructions on how to use it of we went. Great shopping, Antiques, Artesan Jewellers, Books, Restaurants, Bars you name it, all within walking distance, the fun being that you just keep going up one lane and then down another street all the time finding different things to see. Faik Pasha Hotel has so much going for it, from the beautiful Gul (Restaurant Manager) and the wonderful buffet breakfasts, to the wonderful front of house - reception and the delightful Kerimc and the gorgeous young man (apologies I have forgotten your name) , there are no complaints from this end, if only travelling was this enjoyable all the time. My husband also tried the Haman - 2 hours of bliss - well If being scrubbed within an inch of your life is you idea of bliss then please try it out!! The delightful Kerimc will look after all your requests, also giving you ideas on where to go and making bookings for you for shows etc. We also had our transfers looked after by the Hotel - always on time and always polite. There are many options in regards to accommodation, we stuck our heads into a few rooms and apartments, all spacious and spotlessly clean with so many creature comforts. Make sure you check out Istiklal Caddesi for shopping a fabulous long street with only pedestrians allowed - Mango - Zara - Turkish Brands too many to mention, it has it all, ride the tram to the tunnel then head of to Eminonu for a freshly cooked fish sandwich and a cup of the most beautifully coloured pickled vegetables, we can't wait to go back. Thank you Faik Pasha for making this holiday one to remember.
Stayed Jan-Feb 2016
