If you are looking for a doctor to listen to you, explain everything, listen to your concerns and thoughts, give you time to weigh your options and suggest another option, then DON’T go here!
I flew all the way from London to Istanbul after doing my online consultation and agreeing on what will be done and booking my HT operation.
My consultation and operation were on the same day (Friday). After doing blood test and filling up my application, Doctor Serkan came to do the “consultation”. He spent literally less than 5 minutes with me!!! He told me that we won’t be doing what was agreed on during online consultation as the pictures looked different than reality! He gave me 2 options on how we can proceed and left the room!
He didn’t give me any chance to express my concerns or even ask any question about the 2 options that he suggested!! I didn’t like both options and had something else in mind, but there was no one “professional” to talk to! As my operation was on the same day, they told me that I had to decide NOW to prep me for the operation as it’s a long one.
In the end I decided not to proceed with the operation as I wasn’t happy nor comfortable with the general attitude or the options that he suggested.
To be fair in my review, I would give 5 stars for the cleanliness of the clinic and politeness of the ladies that were dealing with me. They were very understanding and helpful. They also didn’t charge me for the night that I stayed in the hotel.
I know Doctor Serkan Aygin is one of the best HT doctors in Turkey or maybe in the world, but he should give more of his precious time to his patients who are coming from all over the world specially for him.
If they ever replied to my review saying that “They can’t find my name in their files” as they do to every negative review, I WAS THERE and can prove it :)response / report this review -

Prior to securing me as a client (and I say "client" because they lack understanding of patient communication) they were very responsive and keen on getting back to me with immediate answers. Upon arriving - service and coordination was topnotch - Everything was going great up until the day of the surgery when I was surprised by the fact that it was not Dr Serkan that would be performing the procedure.
As a female recipient of this procedure the stakes were higher- I flew all the way to this specific clinic because I trusted in the technique that Dr Serkan prides himself in. His take on it was artistic as opposed to just random graft placement (false advertisement I must say which I will take legal action on very soon). Nonetheless, I was already in surgery when I came to this realization and there was no turning back so I just held on to faith in his team to execute efficiently.
One year post my transplant - I have to say that it has been the biggest regret of my life. I have lost much more that what I have gained. The hair direction is a complete mess and it has become extremely difficult to manage my hair. Upon reaching out to them - all they did was ask for photos saying that the doctor was too busy and has other commitments. To this day I have received no answer. Unempathetic and unprofessional.
It's a money making business - patient post care and the results of their work is the least of their priorities.response / report this review -

I was greeted by the most welcoming staff. They all made me feel at ease and took time to explain the process to me. From start to finish of my transplant professionalism could not be better. I would highly recommend them. I received after care through messaging to help my recovery. I’m veryyy satisfied with results.

Excellent staff, excellent doctors, excellent facilities and quality. This place is simply excellent and give good results, I have had multiple surgeries. My first one went perfect and I had amazing hair growth, my second was not as perfect for me unfortunately, but DR. Serkan is a man of his word and keeps his guarantee of free follow up surgery to improve, and gave me a full paid stay in Turkey and surgery to give me the hair I deserve, and I right this after a great experience with my third operation. I recommend his clinic 100%%%%

To say that I am impressed is an understatement. First, the work done by the doctor and team is pure perfection and I could not be happier. However I was also just as happy with the staff and arrangements. The hotel, transportation, and clinic staff were simply amazing. This is the most well done process and experience I have ever had. I would HIGHLY recommend this doctor and clinic to anyone!

I was looking the best place in Turkey for my head and beard transplant. After many researchers comparing prices, successes, quality and professionalism, the evidence came to Serkan Aygin Clinic. Coming from Europe, I can say that it is the best clinic I have ever visited. I also want to thanks all the team of the clinic and involved with it (interpreters, drivers, support at the hotel, nurses and doctors, included Dr Serkan, and even the receptionists and other staff). Everyone is taking care of you from the moment you arrive in Istanbul until you will go back to your country. they are helpful and very polite. I am satisfied about the operation and now I am waiting the result in few months.
Do not hesitate to contact Berk. He was who take care of me and who guided me during all the process. I strong recommend you to keep in touch with him if you speak Spanish or English. Congratulations and thanks.response / report this review -

.A very bad experience and highly not recommended.
the service of the staff was good but dr Serkan is hardly seen and there is a lot of pose around.
Bottom line: the transplant result is a disaster.
Serkan team puts a lot of pressure to use Minoxidil and Propecia to create a misrepresentation of good transplant results. The story is very simple, do you want to know how good the transplant they did for you really is? Stop using Minoxidil and you will see, in my case lots of the transplanted hair fell out and never grow back even after a year.
When you try to contact the clinic, they start trying to soap you up because they understand that the bluff was discovered. And worse, they tell you: "we check with the doctor the pictures you sent and get back to you still waiting for the phone. The truth is that I am no longer waiting and I went to another clinic to correct the horror they did in my head.
Run away as fast as you can,do not say you were not warned!!
חוויה קשה מאוד ומאוד לא מומלצת!!! אמנם השירות של הצוות אדיב אבלאת סרקן
כמעט ולא רואים ויש הרבה פוזה מסביב.
בשורה התחתונה תוצאת ההשתלה מזעזעות.
הצוות של סרקן לוחץ מאוד להשתמש במינוקסידיל ופרופסיה על מנת ליצור מצג שווא של תוצאות טובות מההשתלה. הסיפור הוא כזה, רוצים לדעת עד כמה ההשתלה שעשו לכם אצל סרקן באמת טובה? תפסיקו את השימוש במינוקסידיל ותראו, במקרה שלי רוב השיער נשר ולר חזר לצמוח גם לא אחרי שנה.
בפנייה למרפאה מתחילים לנסות לסבן אותך כי הם מבינים שהבלוף התגלה. וגרוע מזה, אומרים לך אנחנו בודקים מול הדוקטור את התמונות של אחרי ההשתלה וחוזרים אלייך..עדיין מחכה לטלפון. האמת שכבר לא מחכה ופניתי לקליניקה אחרת שתתקן את הזוועה שעשו לי בראש.

They're so kind. I advise you guys to try Dr Serkan. They have 5 stars service starting from the airport. They help in every single thing. Dr Serkan will check your situation more than once. They have staff for all languages. You will never feel any pain during the operation. I highly recommend Dr Serkan for anyone thin about hair transplant.

The team was very professional and helpful. From the beginning of that I have been taken by a professional driver from my hotel, I felt very supported. Every thing was arranged and organised. Very nice welcoming by the hospital and operation team. Every one was so nice and friendly with me to prepare for operation. The Operation done on time also team after that supported me to change and be ready for getting back to my hotel with lots of helpful advice. In totally I’m very satisfied with the team. I appreciate with a big thank you to everyone.

I was referred by a friend who had a very positive experience and sure enough the process was very smooth and easy. Being a doctor myself I was amazed by the high quality and the attention to details through out the entire process. Besiana ( the US coordinator ) was amazing and very helpful she meticulously planned everything. OR team was excellent and very professional, the same with post-op care the instructions were very clear.
I would like to thank Dr. Serkan for this excellent experience.

I’m from Dubai, im not doing advertising, but advice that this is the Best hair transplant clinic in all Istanbul.
I made my hair transplant in a hospital where Dr. Serkan sends his patients. Surprised it was very clean rooms, very friendly team, and good consultants for after the transplant. And the doctor will see you him self.

I was very satisfied with the whole process and the operation. I'm very happy I went ahead and did this as it was something that had bothered me for the last 6 years. Flew in from USA and didn't know what to expect. All staff and personal were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. Very organized very professional. It's been 2 weeks since my operation and I couldn't be any happier. Highly recommend Dr Serkan's clinic. If you are considering this clinic, do not hesitate! It was one of the best choices in my life.

A very professional clean clinic
Dr Sarkan is very quiet but super professional
Ali the assistant answers all your questions and he’s always available to help you with anything you need even over the phone
All the doctors and nurses who works on you are nice and helpful

I did my homework on istanbul hair transplantation and finally I came here based on 2 of my colleagues who did it here before and had an amazing results . For me I did the transplantation 4 days ago ,and am happy with the arrangements and thr care of the staff here , hope my hair will grow very long later on :)

I've been coming to Dr Serkan since 2014 and every time, they could not have made it any easier for me, from the logistics, to the hospitality, it's all been perfect each time, but more importantly, the quality of the operations here is of the highest standard.
Dr Serkan has the experience you need in hair transplants and he gives you the assurance and the realistic outcome of the surgery. Many times, clinics are chasing more patients and more money but rarely do you find places like this that genuinely seem to be caring towards your well-being and what you want to achieve, and whether it is feasible or not. I have had 9000 grafts transplanted in 3 operations with them and I honestly can't be more thankful for choosing the right place for such critical surgeries. I been there 2 times every time I get best treatment I look like 10 years younger now, lots of my other friends after see my results went to same place they offer me 3300 hair croft I was counting every time when they taking the hair off they done 3655 more then they promised, abut the service so warm welcomming and friendly stuff more then I expected, highly I recommend them

عملت الزراعة عندهم من سنة
الحمدلله النتائج مذهلة بعد ستة أشهر من الزراعة
الدكتور مجرد مشرف والفنيين يقومون بالزراعة
تستغرق الزراعة 5ساعات
يوم قبلها للتحليل والفحوصات
ويوم بعد العملية للتنظيف وحقن إبرة البلازما
العملية مؤلمة بأول نص ساعة وهي وقت حقن ابر التخدير بعد كذا ماتحس بشي
أول اسبوعين الوضع مزعج لأنك تنام على ظهرك حتى ماتخرب العملية
القشور لازم تتعلموا كيف تنظفوها بعد العملية لأنها ممكن تخرب النتائج.
خلال هذي الفترة أخذت حقن البلازما مع فيتامين بريورين
سعرهم رخيص مقارنة بغيرهم، تقريبا أقل من 7الاف ريال سعودي
