This point specifically named '261 hills' ( 261 rakımlı tepe in Turkish) houses two important cemetaries: that of the Turkish heroes from the first two days of foreign invasion and subsequent, and that of the alien soldiers of New Zealand. Has to whether the so-called world powers had learnt their lessons in sending innocent foreign soldiers of a sovereign states to fight fir their greediness and barbaric interests, still wait to be seen. The innocent forces of New Zealand having to come from over that long distance in the British command to invade and colonize sovereign Turkish lands. And still the fallen soldiers of Britain, New Zealand and France are celebrated as heroes in simple motive of deceiving the populace that the Turks were the transgressors and still depicted as such. Allah saves the World.

Site of the monument dedicated to New Zealand troops who died in the war and also a huge monument to Atatürk. Technically it's NZ land around the monument.
