This is one of the must see places of Bursa. As a local from Istanbul I’ve been in Bursa numerous times but I,ve missed to visit this beautiful mosque. It really has a historical atmosphere in it.
Also it has a quite good view of Bursa because the mosque is built on a hill so you can check out that too.response / report this review -

The building structures are amazing, the construction is beautiful. I was amazed with the structures and the craftsmanship done here, which offeres a serene experience. It was extremely quite and felt very peaceful, touching your soul. There is also a few shops adjacent to this place which offers very good pricing for original silk, stones, etc.

in our trip we enjoyed the time at THE GREEN MOSQUE at Bursa it was like the beautiful place the well rich in history of turkey. This mosque was built 500 years ago, Persian Masters made the stunning tiles (from where originated the famous Iznik tiles). The marble entrance took one single artist three years to make.MUST PLACE TO VISIT

Magnificent place! Reminding of most glorious days of ottoman empire, green tile makes this place different from all other mosques in turkey! Iranian artists was in charge of building this beautiful place. It used to serve as court, government meetings and a mosque! Don't forget to go a little further and visit beautiful shops near this place!
