  პარხალის ეკლესია ააგო დავით III კურაპალატმა (აშენდა 973 წელზე ცოტა ადრე). ამ პერიოდში შატბერდის მონასტერში მოღვაწე იოანე ბერაიმ გადაწერა და პარხალს შესწირა სახარება, რომელიც ლიტერატურაში პარხლის ოთხთავის (ხელნაწერთა ინსტიტუტი, A-1453) სახელითაა ცნობილი. პარხლის მოღვაწეთაგან განსაკუთრებით აღსანიშნავია გაბრიელ პატარაჲ (X-XI სს.), პარხლის ოთხთავისა (ხელნაწერთა ინსტიტუტი, S 4927) და პარხლის მრავალთავის (ხელნაწერთა ინსტიტუტი, A—95) გადამწერი. პარხალში გადაიწერა „შუშანიკის წამება“, უძველესი ნუსხა X ს-სა. The Church of the Church was built by David III Curapalat (built 973 shortly before). During this period, John Baiire, who works in Shatberdi Monastery, gave a copy of the Gospel which was known in the literature by the name of Parkhalla Gautama (The Institute of Manuscripts, A-1453). Particularly revered is the Gabriel Potale (X-XI cc), the excellence of the school (Manuscript Institute, S 4927), and the editor of the multi-plate (Institute of Manuscripts, A-95).   Parkhali (Georgian: პარხალი), also known in Turkish as Barhal or Altıparmak, is a village that contains a medieval Georgian monastery and cathedral church. It is located near the town of Yusufeli, Artvin Province, Turkey.
