Great Turkish Bath. I had a great experience. It was full of locals. Although I did not speak Turkish, personnel where friendly and clear. I highly recommend going there :)

Aziziye Bath is historical turkish bath which was built during the time of Sultan Abdulaziz. You can see the 1860s' architectural style of Ottoman Architecture. The hamam (turkish bath) consist of two parts. For men, from 06:00 to 23:00 a night, for women from 08:00 to 18:30 hours is open. Sauna is also available in Hamam. Hamam is decorated with warm and relaxing tiles. So it is nice place to relax. Enjoy it.

Never been to a Turkish bath before. It was an alright experience and frankly a tad too expensive for what it entails. You strip down to your underwear, sit in a room and wash yourself with a bucket. The room isn't all that warm although I was really hoping for a good steam since my skin was so dehydrated.

After about 5 mins, a lady came and asked me to lie down and she scrubbed me and after that, washed a bit and then she soaped me. She also shampooed and washed your face. I would sum up the experience as me being a grown baby being washed by a mother. The whole scrub and soap process took about 15 minutes and it cost 50TL.

I probably wouldn't go back again. I've had better baths for far less money in other countries. But if you want to have the experience for much less than other places, then I suppose it suffices.

The women working there were so nice. It was my first time ever in a hammam. I went with a group of friends and I would definitely go again.

It was like a religious experience, I swear. A true tonic for the weary traveler!! This place was half the price of the Hamam my hostel tried to steer me into (55 lira for full service, vs 100). I was there for a full two hours and came out a different man than the one that went in. For those of you second-guessing a Turkish Bath (Hamam), please, JUST GO. I've never been so clean in my life. Never! Best sauna I've ever been in, and I've been in many. The staff had limited English, and I speak less than ten words of Turkish, but neither mattered. I was the only tourist in there, it was a fantastic way to see how the local men pass a Tuesday night. Just can't say enough about this place!!

Ps; get a refreshment and hang out for a bit afterwards, you won't regret it. And tip your masseuse!!!! He provides you personalized care through the entire experience!

I've never felt compelled to write a google review until now. For the google review who complained they don't speak English, I really don't know what you expect travelling aboard. And seriously this isn't a restaurant where they sell a million things, it's literally two thing; entrance and scrub. This is a no frills authentic turkish bath. Other places are way more expensive and meant for tourists. If your in a budget this place is great. 45tl for entrance and scrub. The scrubbing lady told me things like turn, arm, more water, so not lost in translation. Great experience. They were super nice pointing for everything I was supposed to do. Getting me flipflops and a plastic bag for my wet swim suit etc. People go in their underwear and topless, if I had known that I would have gone for that as opposed to my awkward one piece swim suit. Suxh a great experience would recommend.

Interesting experience. I was the only tourist in the hamam. Staff spoke very little English.

This is a hamam for locals No real pampering and no one spoke English. It wasn't as nice as another I have been to. That said everyone was nice and the man that bathed me was very nice. 45TL for a wash which was about half that of others.
