Great location with 360° of cappadocia views! especially the fairy chimneys in the west are accessible with a nice walking path. steep in the beginning but worth the challenge :)

Sunset view point. Awesome location to view sunset. Complete valley is under your feet. Approximately 10 minutes uphill walk from Centre of town to this place. After enjoying sunset one can view beautifully lit cave hotels while going down. Must see. No tickets.

Göreme sunset point. I would recommend you not only this sunset cinema, but to get up early and walk from this point to south with view on eastern valley around 5:30-7 am. All the balloons are in the air that time and it is really excellent experience!

A spectacular vantage point for both sunrises and sunsets. It can get a bit crowded at these times so arrive early. In the mornings (just past sunrise) the hot air balloons literally come floating over your head. Magical!
